General considerations The development of Ruddi™ is based on the "pay or contribute" idea. We are willing to give you a free access to the source code of Ruddi™ provided that you are doing the same with all developments, enhancements and fixes you would be developing using Ruddi™ or performing on Ruddi™. In that context, the Reciprocal Public License, which is an open source license recognized by the Open Source Initiative (OSI), is used. In the event you don't want or can't contribute back to Ruddi™, whatever the reason, a closed source commercial license is available. Working with mixed licenses Opting for a commercial license doesn't prevent you to work with the open source version of Ruddi™ as well. For example, you may decide to enhance the core Ruddi™ package for the needs of a project for which the open source Reciprocal Public License is not acceptable. In that instance, only the enhancements made to the core Ruddi™ package would have to be contributed back.
