Future perspectives

Ruddi already provides today very powerful features. However, many improvements are still envisaged. Here are a few:

Ability for a Ruddi developer to define his/her own serializers and deserializers. This feature would for example allow supporting querying capabilities native to an UDDI registry but not part of the official querying interface defined by the UDDI specification.
Ability for a Ruddi developer to define his/her own transport mechanism. This feature would for example allow supporting new SOAP implementations, or even non-SOAP based transports.
Ability for a Ruddi developer to define his/her own logging system. This feature would for example allow integrating with the logging system of an application server.
